My Sea-Band Mama Anti-Nausea Products Review

Motion Sickness and Travel Sickness

Let me start off by saying NO I am not pregnant. Just had to get that out there. 🙂 However, I do still occasionally suffer from nausea and dizziness. I get nauseas at times due to my allergies where I get postnasal drip. I also get light-headed sometimes when I stand up as I have suffered with anemia since I was a teenager. Therefore I was excited to try out this product. Even though these are called Sea-Band Mama, they are not just for pregnant women. If you suffer from nausea, dizziness, chemotherapy related nausea, or motion sickness, then this band might be for you.

If you have ever been pregnant before, chances are, you may have had to deal with bouts of nausea throughout your pregnancy. With Sea-Band Mama!, the leading brand in morning sickness relief, you can relieve your nausea in a safe and natural way. I wish I knew about this product when I was pregnant with my son. I had morning sickness every day for my first trimester morning, noon, and night. Fortunately it was rather mild and I didn’t do the “heave” but it was still a very uncomfortable feeling.

My kit included:

  • Sea-Band Mama! acupressure wrist bands
  • Sea-Band Mama! Ginger and Spearmint Rollette
  • Sea-Band Mama! Ginger Lozenges
  • Sea-Band Family combo pack with more Sea-Band products

About Sea-Band Mama!

Sea-Band is a kitted elasticated wrist band, which operates by applying pressure on the Nei Kuan acupressure point on each wrist by means of a plastic stud. The bands can be worn on each wrist whenever you feel nauseous.

Sea-Band Mama! Ginger and Spearmint Rollette is made of lime, spearmint, and ginger essential oils that have been diluted and hand blended into a unique rollette.

Sea-Band Mama! Ginger Lozenges can be taken in the morning or whenever required throughout the day (not exceeding 10 per day.)

This week my husband stayed home from work one day due to nausea and not feeling well so I had him put on a Sea-Band. He said after a while with it on and getting some rest he did start to feel better.

I actually put one on a few days ago as my allergies had been bothering me most of the day, and I started getting nauseas. For me, the band was kind of tight, but I may have been wearing the children’s band 🙂 and I didn’t notice a difference in my symptoms right away. It is more of a gradual process, at least for me. I also used the ginger and spearmint rollette and tried the ginger lozenges. Loved the rollette. The lozenges however were not my favorite. I have had ginger chews for nausea in the past, and favor them more than the lozenges, but they do work.

For the most part, I think these products are pretty good and do what they say they are going to do.

Cool fact: Gwen Stefani wore her Sea-Band Mama! bands during her 3rd pregnancy to help relieve her of her morning sickness.
